Based on the above information, it is Officer Frank's belief the posted signs at Peterson Trail, Old Mill Road, Quebec and Brian Drive are adequate to control the amount and type of traffic typical in this area. Motion by Council Member Travis, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to table the 73" Street request for placement of a stop sign on the corner of 73r Street and Quebec, until the next City Council meeting and the interested residents have had an opportunity to speak with Officer Frank. Motion carried unanimously. Construction Traffic Restriction on Brian Drive Mr. Peterson stated he spoke to JeiiBoeh (Land Holding Company), who stated he would do whatever he can to open the road up to the east, between the dead end street and 20` Ave. Mr. Boch will be contacting Eagle Trucking and request their assistance in smoothing out and opening up the area for construction traffic along with notifying equipment haulers etc. to use the opening. Mr. "wiiharber stated that possibly after the area is opened up, the City could put up signs stating "Construction Traffic — Enter on 20 Avenue ". ivlr. Wilharber added he has spoken to Chief joei Heckman concerning the issue of trucks entering the area, which are currently in non - compliance with the current road restrictions. Chief Heckman responded his three would start to watch for "road restriction" violations. Motion carried unanimously. Hensel Special Use Permit Request Mr. Travis read a letter received from Margaret and Leo Hensel. Mr. and Mrs. Hensel are requesting a Special Use Permit to haul 4 tons of cement to their home at 1744 Heritage Street. the current road restriction is 3 tons. The Hensel's are constructing a 6 x 21 1/2 toot addition to the bedroom of their home at the above stated address. The cement contractor estimates a I -ton overage. 3
