City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 29, 2009 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Paar to approve the Interconnect <br />Agreement Contract For Joint Usage of Water Facilities by and between the City of <br />Lino Lakes and the City of Centerville, Anoka County, Minnesota. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Centerville Lions <br /> <br /> <br />a.Special Event Permit (Fishing Contest/Young Eagles Airplane Rides) <br /> <br /> <br />b.Temporary/Event Liquor License <br /> <br /> <br />c.Temporary/Event Charitable Gambling Permit (Raffle) <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve Centerville Lions events a, b, and c , subject to all City/Staff <br />requirements. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.Resolution #09-041 – 2010 Appointments <br /> <br />Mr. Lois Melamed, The Citizen, appeared before the City Council thanking them for the <br />opportunity to publish the City’s legal notices. He stated that he hopes the City would <br />consider The Citizen again for 2010. <br /> <br />The City Council thanked Mr. Melamed. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the appointments with a consensus on the following: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor – Council Member Paar. <br /> <br />Centerville Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Members – Council Members <br />Paar and Broussard Vickers and Alternate Mayor Capra. <br /> <br />Check Signing Authority – Mayor Mary Capra, Acting Mayor – Council <br />Members Paar and Fehrenbacher and City Administrator Larson. <br /> <br />North Metro Telecommunications Commission Representative – Council Member <br />Fehrenbacher and Alternate Council Member Love. <br /> <br />Police Commission – Mayor Capra, Council Member Broussard Vickers and Alternate <br />Council Member Fehrenbacher. <br /> <br />Rush Line Corridor – Mayor Mary Capra. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />
