<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes 12-02-09 <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, December 2, 2009 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Suzanne Seeley <br /> Vice Chairperson Kevin Selander <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Mark Haiden <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Jon Grahek <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Committee Member Patrick Branch <br /> <br />Council: <br />City Council Liaison ~ D. Love <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> Staff Liaison Kim Stephan <br /> <br />__________________________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley called the December 2, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to <br />order at 6:34 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley requested adding an appearance by Mr. Matt Neutkens to update the <br />committee on the installation of the blue bird houses. Chairperson Seeley also requested adding <br />under Committee Business a discussion on the committee being supplied City email addresses. <br /> <br />Committee Member Grahek requested adding a discussion of the condition of the fields at <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park under Committee Business. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member <br />Haiden, to set the agenda with above additions. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mr. Matthew Neutkens, Eagle Scout Project, <br /> made an appearance to update the committee on <br />the status of the bluebird house Eagle Scout Project. Mr. Neutkens brought a finished house <br />with him for the committee’s review and stated he has all of the houses completed. He has <br />received donations to partially fund the supplies used and should have all the houses mounted in <br />1 of 4 <br /> <br />
