TO: Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> FROM: Kim Stephan <br /> DATE: February 25, 2010 <br /> SUBJECT: Financials <br /> Attached is a Proposed Amended Budget provided by Mr. Mike Jeziorski, Finance Director with input <br /> from Chairperson Branch. <br /> Email update per Mr. Jeziorski: <br /> I am also tracking other various budget amendments throughout the general fund budget so once there is a <br /> good enough number we will put it before Council for approval--probably after 1st quarter in April. <br /> Grants to finance upgrades to certain little league parks - I have not had much luck finding anything to this <br /> point, but 1 will continue to look as time allows. <br /> As for a grant for the Liebel property we expect that Met Council will have a grant solicitation very shortly <br /> for enhancement grants. We will continue to watch for the solicitation, which would likely be for 2013 or <br /> 2014 funding. <br />
