CITY OF CENTERVILLE MONTHL YENGINEER'S REPORT For the March 10, 2010 City Council Meeting 1. 21" Avenue /Backage Road (000616- 05143 -0). My/ars have been printed and are being signed by the necessary offlabls as well as the Sheeheys. Once the signatures are obtained and all taxes are made current; the plat can be recorded. 2. Old Mill Road Improvements (000616- 06147 -0). We received the signed final pay request from the bonding company. However, they have not provided all IC -1345 or Lien Waivers and have stated that he will not be able to produce them. The City Attorney is reviewing the situation. 3. TE Grant Trail Project ( 000616-08165 -0). The city has necak d nobtee from the court that we now have possession of all of the easements for the trail project. While this means we can construct the trail project it does not mean that the ants of these easements have been dfetermined. However, most of the easement agreements have been finalized and the Qy Attomey and Mr. Larson have been working with tine remaining property owners to make final setbements In the coming months we will be working to move the plans through the agency submittal process. We will also begin acquiring permits and other approvals as necessary. Additionally, City and Bonestroo staff are working out arrangements for the inspection of the project. The federal funding will require specialized documentation as well as advanced MNDOT certifications. Proper inspection and documentation will be imperative to ensure our funding is secured. A tentative schedule would have us beginning construction just after the 4' o0u/y. 4. 2008 Downtown Storm Water Improvements (000616 - 08167 -0). On Monday (311) City staff met with Marrey Wesbr d of the Board of Water and Sol! Resources (BWSR) to discuss the status of our Clean Water Legacy Act grant should we decide to only construct the Irrigation portion of the downtown storm water project. In general she thought that this proposal still met the intent of the grant. We have submitted some additional Inform bon which she requested and await her confirmation that we may move forward with the scaled back project. 5. 2009 Pond Dredging (000616 - 09168 -0). The project is complete except for final touch up in the swh9l 6. Peltier Lake Drive Area Street & Utility Improvements (2009.01) (000616 - 09169 -0), 2009 Street Improvements (2009.02) (000616 - 09170 -0). Work is now complete on both projects with the exception of wear course paving (intended for 2010) and minor punch list work. Final pay requests for the year are being developed. 7.
