Mr. Craig Kozar had reserved about 80 feet <br />to the west for future expansion. <br /> <br />Tourville suggested speaking to Rehbein to correct the swale if needed. Tourville was <br />concerned with the landscaping on the north side of the building. Mr. Craig Kozar was <br />thinking of small bushes and trees on the north side of the building. <br /> <br />Tourville said for the record "Screening is not necessary between this building and Noble <br />Welding" . <br /> <br />MOTION by Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Vermeulen to recommend site plan to City <br />Council with the exception of screening on the south side, contingent of the engineers <br />report bullet items 2,3,4 & 5. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Special Use Permit - Mr. Hank Moss requested a special use permit for advertising <br />benches on the corners of Main Street and 20th and Main Street and Peterson Trail. Welk <br />asked what purpose does this serve since there is no bus stop in either area. Vermeulen <br />suggested placing a bench like this in the park area. Tourville said "For snow <br />maintenance, traffic, the land is not level and there is no purpose, I am not in favor of <br />granting a Special Use Permit". <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, seconded by LaMotte to deny the special use permit at the locations <br />requested. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1997 Chairperson Position - Welk recommended Dan Tourville as Chairperson. <br />Vermeulen recommended Kathy Welk as Vice-Chairperson.
