APPEARANCES

Rick Carlson - Sketch Plan for Park view Place (Tourville Property)
Mr. Rick Carlson presented a concept plan for the Park View Place. Mr. Carlson gave the
Tourville property as a location for the proposed 75-10t development. Mr. Carlson explained the
average house value is approximately $135,000. Mr. Carlson stated the home plans will range
from eleven hundred square feet to sixteen hundred square feet, multi-level with oversized two
and a half car garage. Also, Mr. Carlson planned to rezone the property from Rl to R2A with
eighty feet wide lots. Mr. Carlson noted his business is in land development, however, he will
oversee the construction. Finally, the wetland delineation and ponding will occur on the east side
of the development.

Mr. March asked "How are values maintained at $135,000?" Mr. Carlson stated he has
architectural experience, therefore, he reviews the building site plans to maintain a level of value.
In addition, Mr. Carlson would rather pay cash instead of dedicating park land and he would
rather have trails installed instead of sidewalks. Also, Mr. Carlson preferred single family housing
over townhouses. Ms. Welk suggested a more creative layout and larger lot sizes.

Mr. Carlson left at 8: 19 p.m.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES

September 2. 1997 Meeting Minutes
MOTION by Ms. Broussard-Vickers to approve the September 2, 1997 meeting minutes as
submitted.
