Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 1, 2004 <br />Mr. Carlson addressed the Commission and explained his lot split/lot combination <br />request. <br />Chair Hanson asked whether there would be any issues with attaching this parcel to the <br />second phase of Hunter’s Crossing. <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers explained that the lots in those locations would need <br />to be rezoned as they are not ten acres and are currently zoned R1. <br />Motion by Commissioner Lakso, seconded by Commissioner Klennert Hunt to close <br />the public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Commission discussed the matter and agreed that they saw no issues with the request <br />provided that the parcel is rezoned. <br />Motion by Commissioner Lakso, seconded by Commissioner Klennert Hunt to <br />recommend Council approval of the requested lot split/lot combination contingent <br />upon the rezoning. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chair Hanson closed the public hearing at 6:53 p.m. <br /> 2. Robert Koran/Richard S. Carlson – Lot Split/Lot Combination <br />Chair Hanson opened the public hearing at 6:54 p.m. <br />Mr. Carlson addressed the Commission and explained his lot split/lot combination <br />request noting that he is giving property to Mr. Koran to allow his pigeon coop to remain <br />in its present location and not have to be moved. <br />The Commission discussed the matter and asked that Mr. Carlson look into running the <br />property line straight rather than as shown on the survey.Mr. Carlson agreed to do so. <br />Motion by Commissioner Klennert Hunt, seconded by Commissioner Lakso to close <br />the public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chair Hanson closed the public hearing at 7:01 p.m. <br />Motion by Commissioner Hunt, seconded by Commissioner Lakso to recommend <br />Council approval of the requested lot split/lot combination subject to clarification of <br />the survey and research on running the property line all the way to the road <br />easement for Centerville road (straight).All in favor.
