Eagle Truckin���raisal <br /> Mr. March stated that he received the Eagle Trucking Appraisal today and that it was <br /> close to the price that Mr. Huber was requesting for the property. He stated tha.t the next <br /> step should be an environmental study on the property. <br /> Council directed Mr. March to contact Mr. Huber to discuss the appraisal and indicate <br /> that the City would like to see a Phase I Envirorunental Study. Council also directed the <br /> City Engineer to provide a cost estixnate of this study so that Mr. March can give Mr. <br /> Huber an indication of how much the study would cost. <br /> Tri-City Police Department Joint Powers Agreement <br /> Mr. March stated that the three city administrators and city attorneys met to discuss the <br /> Tri-City Police Department Joint Powers Agreement. He stated that there were some <br /> minor language changes, but no major changes. <br /> City Attorney Hoeft stated that he did not have any major issues, but would like to review <br /> it with the changes. Council directed that the agreement be brought back to the December <br /> 20, 1999 meeting for approval. I <br /> IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> Rick Cazlson — Development Request I <br /> Mr. Carlson presented the Council with an overview of his proposal for property located � <br /> south of LaMotte Park. He also requested that he be allowed to proceed with a MLISA <br /> Amendment to move this development up one year. He stated the impact should be <br /> minimal in that he anticipates only four or five homes being occupied prior to 2001. He ', <br /> wishes to ask for a Planned Unit Development with homes varying in prices from <br /> $175,000 to $275,000. <br /> Mr. Carlson stated that he has agreed to pay a park dedication of $2,000 per lot, all costs <br /> associated with the MUSA amendment and complete the trail as requested by the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission. <br /> The consensus of Council is that Mr. Carlson proceed through the Planning and Zoning <br /> process. <br /> Holidav Party Expenditures <br /> Mr. March stated that the celebration committee is asking for approval for the expenditure <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br />
