Mr. March stated that there are issues that need to be discussed and resolved before a formal <br /> public hearing is held on this project. Motion carried unanimousl_y. <br /> Livable Communities Act Resolution <br /> Mr. March stated that if the City wishes to elect to continue to participate in the Livable <br /> Communities Program a resolution needs to be passed by Council. <br /> Motion bv Council member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council member Sweenev to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 99-26, Electing to Continue Participatins in the Local Housin� <br /> Incentives Account Pro�ram under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act. Motion <br /> carried unanimousl_y. <br /> 2000 Fete des Lacs Committee <br /> Mr. March stated that Mr. DeVine was present to request that the Fete des Lacs Committee be <br /> recognized as a City committee and having the City be the official organization of this <br /> subcommittee. He also stated that Council member Sweeney has agreed to be liaison to this <br /> corrunittee. <br /> Mr. DeVine gave a brief presentation to Council on the proposed Fete des Lacs for 2000. <br /> Motion 6v Mavor Wilharber, seconded bv Council member NeLson to reco�nize the Fete <br /> des Lacs committee as a Citv committee.
