PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS _ <br /> Clearwater Meadows Foot Bridse - Jim Bownik stated it had been requested that he/staf�' <br /> look into the City Council Meeting Minutes from 1996 to see w�hy the foot bridge was <br /> never implemented. He stated he looked through all af the 1996 Minutes, and there <br /> wasn't any mention of a foot bridge. <br /> �uechler Estates - It was requested that staf�'investigate whether we took ?and. It was <br /> rnentioned that the �20,Q00 -$25,000 would be better spent at the Laurie LaMotte Park. <br /> Paul Palzer mentioned that Met Council is replacing the rnain interceptor and that this <br /> might be an opportunity to possibly put in a trailway from Centerville Road to 20th <br /> Avenue and south of the Center Oaks subdivisions. <br /> Lot Fee A'ustment fdr Park Dedication - Michael Navin wanted to check into the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and with staff, and will report back to us in December. � <br /> Paul Palzer stated we accepted $25,000 as park dedication for Buechler Estates. <br /> Jim March suggested raising the $900 to a higher fee per lot. ' <br /> Doug Bahneman is going to work on a new proposal. � <br /> �,aurie L�Motte Park Undate - Jim March stated the ice rink is 95% complete, public , <br /> works is putting up the hockey boards. It was expressed that the community would like to <br /> see a skating night/family fun night. VVe will have new hand-outs, the seed is spead <br /> mulched, and the paricing lot lights will be installed. The parking lat will be unpaved until <br /> spring, but we are going to try to get curb and gutters installed. Jim March also <br /> mentioned a new tractor has been purchased. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1Vlichael Navin c�uestioned the Little League's request for dragging the ba1l fields. <br /> Jim March suggested the Little League could purchase the equipment and donate it to the <br /> city. Public works could maintain the fields. He stated the Little League wanted the fieids <br /> dragged daily, but he fett public works would adequately maintain them. <br /> Steve Brawn will again supervise the scheduling of the skating rink attendants. He will <br /> be scheduling the first week of December. Steve is also trying to try to set up a family fun <br />
