Chairperson <br /> Richard Thompson called the meeting to order at 6:45 p,m. <br /> PRESENT: Chairperson Richard Thompson <br /> Dale Larson <br /> Michael Navin <br /> Kevin Fogarty <br /> Steve Brown <br /> STAFF: Jim March City Administrator <br /> *****************�*�*�x***********�*********************�***********�********** <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> Mr. March gave a presentation concerning LaMotte Park development. Issues discussed are <br /> wetlands and possible purchase of credits to allow full development of the park fields, and allow <br /> for the trail expansion with Anoka County. <br /> MOTION by Mr. Navin to pursue the purchase of wetland credits to mitigate the wetland <br /> measure. Motion seconded by Mr. Larson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Mazch briefed the Park and Recreation Commission on the Park View (Tourville Property) <br /> concept plan presented at the Planning and Zoning meeting. Mr. March suggested the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee be aware of possible trail easements to connect to Eagle Pass Park on the <br /> east side of the Park View development. Also, the Park and Recreation should decide to either <br /> request pazk dedication funds or require a park. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee suggested a letter be sent congratulating the new Park and <br /> Recreation Director for the City of Lino Lakes. Furthermore, invite the Director to a Centerville <br /> Park and Recreation Committee meeting to discuss jaint initiatives, i.e., recreation programs, park <br /> development. <br /> MOTION by Mr. Thompson to authorize City Staffto look into the passibility of filling the Park <br /> along Mill Road, south of Prairie Drive. Motion seconded by Mr. Larson. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
