Meeting was called to order at <br /> 6:48 P.M. by Cornmittee Member Michael Navin. <br /> PRESENT: Michael Navin <br /> Kevin Fogarty <br /> Steve Brown <br /> STAFF: Jim March � <br /> ABSENT: Dale Larson I �� <br /> Rick Thompson � <br /> I <br /> I <br /> APPEARANCES �� <br /> Ken Sorenson - owner of Waterworks Beach Club is interested in the possible usage of the new I <br /> fields for tournaments. In return for field usage, Ken would like to be a long term contributor. I <br /> He is in favor of the concept. Ken will talk with Bill Bisek from Kelly's Corner and Paul Montain I <br /> from the Trio Inn regarding a joint partnership in helping with funding and usage needs. He resides at: 4163 145th Lane, Andover, MN 55304. � <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: I ' <br /> Kevin made a motion to approve the June 16th and June 24th Meeting Minutes. Change the date <br /> on the June 16th Minutes from the 3rd to the 16th. Also, please provide the Park and Recreation <br /> Cammittee a copy of the June 3, 1997 Minutes for approval. Seconded by Steven Brown. All in � <br /> favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Preliminary Grading Plan - LaMotte Park Property - Park and Recreation will get more definite <br /> field dimensions for soccer and softball fields in order to get competitive bids. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Kevin Fogarty will put together a preliminary comprehensive plan for the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee to review. This plan will be presented at the September meeting by Kevin. <br /> Letter received from Star Tribune requesting completion of a survey indicating events offered <br /> through the City of Centerville. Mike will complete the survey and return it back to the Star <br />
