City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 24, 2010 <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar <br />to approve the March 10, 2010 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville March 11, 2010 through March 24, 2010 Claims (Check <br />#25253 – 25271) & (Check #25272–25283) <br /> <br />2.Centennial Fire District Claims through March 16, 2010 (Check #4209– 4221) <br /> <br />3.Centennial Police Department Claims through March 11, 2010 (Check #7695 – <br />7730) <br /> <br />4.Forest Lake Contracting, Pay Estimate #8 – 2009.01 Peltier Lake Drive Project - <br />$203,012.43 <br /> <br />5.Forest Contracting, Pay Estimate #8 – 2009.02 2009 Street Improvement Project- <br />$203,269.29 <br /> <br />Items #4 and #5 were moved from the Consent Agenda to New Business Item #3. <br /> <br />Councilmember Love requested that Item #3, Centennial Police Department Claims <br />through March 11, 2010 (Check #7695 –7730) be pulled for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Paar to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Centennial Police Department Claims through March 11, 2010 (Check #7695 <br /> 7730) <br /> <br />Councilmember Love referred to the Centennial Police Department Claims, voided check <br /># 7695, asking that Staff compare the cost of changing to a zero deductible on <br />glass/windshield coverage with the insurance company. He explained that this is the <br />second or third windshield to be replaced since he has been on Council and if it is more <br />economical to have a zero deductible then he would like that to be reviewed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Consent Agenda Item #3 Centennial Police Department Claims through March 11, <br />2010 (Check #7695 –7730) as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Greg Kieselhorst Centerville Lions Annual Easter Egg Hunt LaurieLaMotte <br />Memorial Park <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Kieselhorst, Centerville Lions, appeared before the City Council and stated that <br />the Centerville Lions are requesting the use of Laurie La Motte Memorial Park, April 3, <br />for the 2010 Centerville Lions Easter Egg Hunt. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br />
