<br />Mr. Nordness indicated he would get a clarification on the aggregate approval from Rice <br />Creek. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kilian read the permit that indicated that a pond is required. <br /> <br />Mr. Brent Coatney indicated there is a pretty extensive pond in back. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wilharber commented that Mr. Rehbein has had some problems with Rice <br />Creek Watershed on various occasions. He then asked if the pond was there and dug. <br />Mr. Coatney indicated that it was. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers indicated that the permit says that if the pond is not <br />done it will need to be done. <br /> <br />Chairperson Hanson asked how many people would be on site on a day-to-day basis. The <br />Vice President of the company indicated that there would be approximately 12 people on <br />site daily. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner DeVine, seconded by Commissioner Kilian to recommend <br />to Council approval of this site plan provided that the applicant provide proof of the <br />10% greenspace and information on the pond. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers suggested getting a letter from Rice Creek stating that <br />the pond is in place and talking to the City Engineer to address concerns before the City <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Ordinance #4 Amendments <br /> <br />This matter was continued to the Council meeting on November 14, 2001. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Zoning Map Modifications <br /> <br />Chairperson Hanson indicated that, based on resident input, more research was needed <br />into the ramifications of eliminating the conservation district. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers suggested asking Mr. Palzer to provide information as <br />to why he recommended eliminating the conservation district prior to the next Council <br />meeting. She then commented that, if it is determined that the conservation district <br />should remain, Ordinance #4 would need to be amended to allow for controls in that <br />district. <br /> <br />Page 15 of 24 <br /> <br />
