City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 14, 2010 <br />City Council to reconvene after the Closed Executive Session to discuss Parade and <br />Planning. <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br />1. March 24, 2010 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Paar to approve the March 24, 2010 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville March 25, 2010 through April 14, 2010 Claims (Check <br />#25285 — 25333) & (Check # 25334- 25345) <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims through March 31, 2010 (Check #4222— 425 1) <br />3. Centennial Police Department Claims through April 8, 2010 (Check #7731 -7771) <br />4. Mr. Jason Whitney Request for Encroachment Agreement to Construct <br />Fence within the Drainage/Utility Easement of 7224 Mill Road <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Paar to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />VI. AWARDS /PRESENTATIONS /APPEARANCES <br />1. Mr. Tom Nelson, Cub Scout Rocket Launch, June 5, 2010 — Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park <br />Mr. Tom Nelson, Cub Scouts, appeared before the City Council and stated that the Cub <br />Scouts have held their Rocket Launch for the past four years at Laurie LaMotte Memorial <br />Park and they'd like to continue to hold it there this year. <br />Mayor Capra mentioned the City has always waived fees for non - profit organizations. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Paar to approve the use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. June 5, 2010, for the <br />Cub Scout Rocket Launch. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Resolution #10 -009 — Reauestina MNDOT & Anoka County for a Speed Study <br />Alon>; Main Street <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />
