She then asked Staff to add discussifln of Committee stipends to a future agenda. � Council Member Travis requested the following change: On Page 10, in the second sentence insert the word "council" before lia.ison. Mr. March requested the reference on Page 12 to the house being built off the building pad be changed to the "building." Mayor Swedberg requested the following change: On Page 10, in the first sentence strilce the woxds "he ha.d heard at that meeting" and leave there was a need to know more about the laws and ordinances. Also str�ce "he desir�d to make sure" and add "it is important". Mr. Maxch requested the following change: On Page 12 clarify that Staff speaks to the City Attorney approxima.tely once per week not a total of one day per week. PETITIC3N� AND COMPLAINTS l. Mr. Wayne Slake, 1275 Mound Trail Mr. Blake addressed Council and explained that he bought a lot on Mound Trail that is on the la.ke and was purchased about a year prior to build°u�g on it. He e�lained he and his wife had reviewed the approved site plan for the development, and were under the impressi�n that all of the homes wQUld be built on th� building pad as shown an the site � plan. ' Mr. Blake explained that when he and his wife decided to build on the Iot they decided it would be nice to b� closer to the lake. When th� contacted the Ci the were told that a Y t3' Y ' Variance would be required if they intended to seek permission to build offthe building pad as designated by the site plan. Mr. Biake e�lained rather than going through the City, he contacted Mr. Buechler to request permissian to build off the building pad. Mr. B1aks ��rplained that Mr. Buechler threatened to involve an attorney if the Blakes I attempted to build aff the building pad. Seeing tha.t type of resistance he and his wife ' decided to build on the building pad. A year later, Mr. Buechler staked out a home he is building for himself and it is not on the buiiding pad. Mr. Blake e�lained he contacted Mr. Cook at the City who told him not to worry because if Mr. Buechler wanted to build off the pad then he would also need to request a Variance.
