Glare and Lighting <br /> 1. Deflection. Any lighting, including that for security purposes, used to illuminate an � <br /> off-street arking area, sign or other structure, shall be arrnged so as to deflect light <br /> down and/or awy from any adjoining properties and shall not detract from dreiver <br /> visibility on adjacent streets. Luminaries and lenses shall not protrude below the edge of I <br /> the fixture. <br /> 2. In addition, all lighting (except for security purposes) shall be turned off between <br /> eleven p.m. and six a.m. Exceptions will be granted to those businesses which are <br /> operating during these hours. <br /> 3. Light Standards. Lighting standards used to illuminate off-street parking areas shall <br /> not exceed twenty feet or the height of the tallest building on the lot, whichever is <br /> lower. Light standards and fixtures shall be comparible with the site design and <br /> architecture. <br /> 4. The installation or erection of any lighting which may be confused with warning <br /> signals, emergency signals, or traffic signals shall not be permitted. <br /> 5. Al1 new and replacement lighting fixtures, including those installed in conjuction iwth <br /> existing development, shall comply with the requirements of this section. <br /> i <br />
