Mr. Peterson had received a quote far 25 tons of ag-time at a cost of <br /> $432. Ms. Lien questioned Mr. Mazch as to if tlus could came out of the maintenance <br /> e�enses. Mr. March approved this expense from the maintenance budget. Ms. Lien <br /> commented tha.t ultimately, this needs to be done by the end of July for the Fete des Lacs <br /> Tot�rnament. <br /> Mr. Peterson received a quote from Modern Fence for the relocation of the backstops, <br /> which came in $1,500 higher than what had been e�ected. Council already approved <br /> $3,500. After discussivn, the following rnotion was made: <br /> Motion by Mr. Porter, seconded by Ms. DeVine to request approva! of an additional <br /> $1,500 for installation costs for the relocation of the fencing at Laurie LaMotte <br /> Park, d�ee to the unavailability of the Public Works Department to perform the <br /> labor as originally recommended to City Conncil (total project cost of $5,000). All <br /> in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Ms. DeVine requested Modern Fencing sign a performance agreement for work to be <br /> completed by July 30�'. <br /> WheeLs Park <br /> a. Article in Quad <br /> Ms. Lien e�lained there were 32 youth signed in far the Wheels Pazk Meeting. Included <br /> in the packet was the voting form with the final tabulations — most popular being circled. <br /> Tlze fun box was the most popular piece with 18 votes. Ms. Lien e�lained she was <br /> requested to submit the proposed e�cpenditures for the Wheels Park and the current <br /> expenses to da.te, to City Council. Included were copies of the "Parks and Recreations <br /> Proposed E�cpenditures for the Yeaz 2001, and an updated "Park Fund" balance sheet. <br /> Ms. Lien commented that interest had been added for the yeaz 2000 on the balance sheet. <br /> Additionally, staff is stiil researching the $7k overage from the year 200U, and whether it <br /> , needs to be e�ended from the 2001 Pazk Dedication Fees, or frorn the General Fund. <br /> Per direction from Mr. March, the $7k overage was removed. Ms. Lien shared that the <br /> totat cost for the Laurie LaMotte Park Improvements is $181,180 — which does not <br /> include shipping/handling for the Wheels Park equipment.
