Since the Committee was unsure of whether '� <br /> the Council would approve the request for $42k for park equipment or not, they couidn't �� <br /> direct Ms. Lien to order the equipment until after the Council Meeting on Juiy 11, 2001. �� <br /> At that, the Committee elected to hold a Special Meeting to pick out the equipment and �� <br /> finalize any other issues related specifically to the Wheels Park on Monday, Ju1y 16�' at I <br /> 6:OQ g.m. Ms. Lien will contact the vendors after Council's approvaUdenial to find out ' <br /> their delivery time for the equipment. Tf at that time, it is determined that the vendors <br /> ca.nnot provide the equipment before August 11'", the tentative date for the Grand <br /> Opening would be changed to Saturday, August 18, 2001. <br /> Ms. Lien explained she had included the article published in the Quad for informational <br /> purposes only. She noted some errors in the article, but overall it was a pretty good <br /> article. <br /> Bud�et <br /> Tabled <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Borowicz Reauest for Bon-fue at Acom Creek Park <br /> Ms. Lien distributed a letter received from Becki Borowicz (1861 Revoir St.) requesting <br /> permission from the Pazks and Recreation Committee to have a bon-fire in Acorn Creek <br /> Park, for their annual block party on August 25�'.
