Ms. Liem ccsmmented tha.t the eqtupment fram SkateWave didn't appear <br /> to be the most suitable far bicycles. <br /> Motion by 1VI�. Peil, seconded by Mr. VValter to request $42,OU0 froma City Council <br /> to p�rehas� cquipment for th� Wheels Park at I.,aarie LaMotte Park. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried unanimnusly. <br /> Ms. Laen e�iained she had compiled a dra� "Rules and Regulations" atad requested the <br /> Committee Members to review, comment, change or add to anytbing they feit necessary. <br /> Ms. Lien commented that it was her understanding that the Advisory Board should anly <br /> be OBSEIZ'VING what is happening at the Wheels Park, and calling the apprapriate <br /> parties (Pofice) when necessary. They are to be the "eyes and ears" of the pazk. She <br /> explained that the Committee shouldn't plaEe any member of the Adv4sory Board in <br /> uncamfr�rtable positions (i.e.: friends, enemies, siblings, etc.). There are six (6) youth <br /> interesYed in being on the Advispry Board. <br /> Ms. Lien� explained that Mr. Petersan had been in cont�.ct wifih samec�ne from the League <br /> of MN Cities aazd Tam Gross with Berkley Itisk �.dministrators Company (bra.cj <br /> regarding proper signage. Mr. Grc�ss made several suggestions, inciud.ia�g constxucting <br /> wlth 4" ietters similar to highway signs. The Ietters should be reflective and have a <br /> con�rastix� co�ar to the baekgraund. He �Isa recommended that the City Attor�ey and/or <br /> the League of 1ti1N Cities re�iew the signage before u�stallation.
