Temporary Summer Hel� <br /> Mr. March stated that the Public Works seasonal worker from the previous year has <br /> expressed interest in working for the City again this year. Mr. March explained that A.J. <br /> has agreed to work for the same rate as last year ($10/hour), excluding benefits. <br /> Motion bv Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Nelson to <br /> authorize the hiring of temporary, seasonal help for the Public Works Department <br /> All in favor. Civil Defense Siren <br /> Mr. March stated that he had met with a representative from Federal Warning Systems in , <br /> regards to the current siren and the possibility of securing an additional siren. A proposal � <br /> would be forwarded for review. Mr. March also stated that the additional siren would be <br /> located at City Hall and would be powered by the generator. The existing siren would be I <br /> relocated to ensure 100% coverage for the City. Mr. March explained that the <br /> representative had recommended keeping the controls for the siren inside the building to � <br /> make the siren more reliable. � <br /> Council Member Capra questioned the approximate cost for the siren. Mr. March I � <br /> indicated an additional siren would be approximately $17,000. , <br /> Motion by Mayor Swedberg, seconded b� Council Member Broussard Vickers to <br /> accept the future recommendation of the Fire Chief with regards to the Tornado <br /> Warning Siren.
