COMMITTE� ItEPQRTS <br /> Councii Member Broussard Vickers reported that the Parks and Recreation Committee <br /> would be holding a public meeting concerning the Whe�ls Park ne� Wednesday. <br /> Council Member Broussard Vickers reported there would be a pub�ic hearing to discuss <br /> the proposed amendanents to the Comprehensive Plan at the next Plannuig and Zoning <br /> Committee meeting. <br /> Council Member Nelson requested that the financial reports reflect the appropriate CD <br /> renewal dates. <br /> I`viayor Swedberg reported that the Police Commission had interviewed eleven (11) <br /> candidates for the available position. <br /> Council Member Travis reported that the Business Appreciation Dinner was scheduled <br /> far Tuesday, May 15, 2Q01 at 5:00 p.m. Council Member Broussard Vickers noted that <br /> there would be a presentation of a water feasibility stu�dy and discussion of downtown <br /> streetscaping would immediately foilow the dinner. <br /> XII. ADMINISTRATOI�'S REP4R�' <br /> Mayor 5wedberg reviewed the memorandum submitted by Mr. March. <br /> Mayor Swedberg stated tha.t Mr. March requested that Council Members interested in <br /> attending the LMC Conference in Duluth contact City Ha.11 by 10:00 a.m. of Friday, May <br /> 11. <br /> Mayor Swedberg stated that Mr. Ie�Iarch would be meeting dvith On-Sync Corporation and <br /> he would be notifying mem�aers to ascertain their interest in attending sarne. On-Sync <br /> Corporation is a dacument irnaging software vendor. <br /> Mayor Swedberg stated that the fina.l version of the 'Turcotte purchasirig agreement was <br /> anticipated the following week. <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br />
