' <br /> * Dave Shannon from Color Signs is putting together a design and quote for the proposed <br /> monument entrance sign for the City. I have requested a quote for a design from Shea <br /> Architects. <br /> * Terry Sweeney was inducted as a new member to the Centerville Lions last night. <br /> Marcel Rivard submitted his resignation to the Lions after 29 years of service. Marcel was <br /> a founding member of the Centerville Lions. The Lion's ptan to conduct another <br /> membership drive this spring. An official building committee was appointed at last nights <br /> meeting. This group will be submitting CAD drawings of potential concession stands that <br /> could be built at LaMotte Park. This will be brought before Council in the near future. A <br /> group of women have been meeting and are in discussions to form a possible branch of the <br /> Centerville Lions. If anyone knows someone that is interested in possibly joining the Lions, <br /> please give me a call. <br /> * Anoka County will be conducting a traffic study at the intersection of Main Street and <br /> ` Centerville Road. The study will take three to four weeks to complete. The City requested <br /> that the County examine additional methods of controlling traffic at the intersection such as <br /> a flashing light above the stop sign, overhead flashing {ight, rumble strips etc.. <br /> * I met with our insurance provider yesterday to discuss insurance policy renewal. I <br /> verified coverage for the Fete des Lacs and Garage Sales Days events. These events are <br /> covered under the City's policy. There are some additional requirements for some items <br /> 2/23/O1 <br />
