EDC has put i <br /> together a flyer promoting Centerville's businesses. The flyer will be distributed at this � <br /> event. <br /> * The Lion's Ice Fishing Contest is scheduled for February 10th. Vofunteers are needed. <br /> Registration is in Waterworks parking lot. The fee is $5 per entrant. There wiil be severai I <br /> great prizes. The contest runs from 12:00 to 3:00 with registration beginning at 11:30. <br /> * If you are interested in attending the Lion's Cadillac Dinner you need to act immediately. I � <br /> Only eighty tickets are sold for the event. At the meeting last night, it was discovered that � <br /> there are only two or three unsold tickets left. The event did not seil out last year, but it i <br /> looks like this year is a different story. The dinner is scheduied for February 24th at the � <br /> Hugo Legion. � <br /> * The Fete des Lacs committee is meeting next week Monday at 6:30 at City Hall. It has <br /> been announced that Centervitle wilt be the host for a 32 team MRA regional softball <br /> tournament. Last years tournament was just organized and advertised locally. Being <br /> chosen as a site for a regional taurnament could attract three times as many softball <br /> piayers than what we had last year. <br /> * The Councii has a goals workshop scheduled for next week Wednesday at City Hall. <br /> * Chicito Homes was given site plan approval for an approximate 12,000 square foot <br /> industrial building. The building wiN be constructed on Lot 5 in the Roya! Industriat Park. <br /> Chicilo Homes will occupy 25% of the building and they also have another tenant that <br /> manufactures the razor blades used on arrows that will occupy another 25% of the <br /> building. <br /> * Lloyd Drilling received site plan approval for his proposed commercial building located on <br /> Main Street across from City Hall.
