Motion carried unanimously. October 5, 1999 Plannin�and Zonin� Minutes Motion bv Mr. McLean, seconded by Mr. DeVine to approve the October 5, 1999 Plannin� and Zonin� meeting minutes. All in favor. Motion carried unanimousl_y. DISCUSSION ITEMS: Fireasm Ordinance Review ' The Commission discussed sections of the revised Firearm Ordinance. The Commission made a few changes in Section 5.02 and Section 5.04. M otion by Mr. McLean, seconded by Mr. DeVine to make the changes, forward the ordinance to the City Attorney for his review and comments and bring back to the Commission at their December 7, 1999 meetin�. 1Vlotion carried unanimously. Ordinance # 4 Review Mr. March informed the Commission of a booklet on "Preparing a Conventional Zoning Ordinance." He explained that this model provides the Commission direction in setting up the zoning ordinance to be easy to read and easy to administer. Motion by Mr. McLean, seconded bv Mr. DeVine to table the Ordinance #4 Review, directed staff to provide the Commission with a copv of the "Preparing a Conventional Zonin� Ordinance" for their review and for staff to prepare a"draft" Ordinance #4 incorporatin� the st_yle described in the publication b_y the Januarv 4, 2000 meetin�, and to hold two workshops per month in addition to the regularlv scheduled meeting be�innin� in January, 2000.
