Bid of $55,000. Playworld will <br /> deliver the equipment and will let it sit in the truck for $10 per day until the City is <br /> ready to install the equipment. <br /> * Game Time (MI�T/WI Playground Inc.) Bid of $53,400. Game Time is a farnily <br /> owned business. They will deliver the equipment on a Tuesday and it would have to sit <br /> � there until the City is ready to install it which would probably be on a Saturday. There <br /> is also a fee of $350 per person (from Game Time) to help with the setting up of the <br /> pla.y structure. This structute has a feature called "Mega-Lock" which enables the <br /> volunteers who are setting up the equipment to just snap and lock the pieces together. <br /> The footings have to be exactty the same, but ultimately this would be better for setting <br /> up the structure. This particular play structure has a continuous pla.yfold which means <br /> children can go azound and up and down and through the whole structure without ever <br /> turning arovnd. T'he children rea11y like this structure because it has a big dinosaur at , <br /> the beginning of the entrance. The kids refer to this park as�he "Dinosaur Park". ' <br /> * Kid Builders (Flanagan Sales Inc.) Bid of $55,000. Kid Builders uses Little Tykes ! <br /> play equipment in their play structures. The representative from Kid Builders didn't I <br /> push the sale very well, so the CNN wasn't very impressed. , <br /> Note: None of the bids listed above include ground cover (fiber system), curb enclosure (timbers), II <br /> concrete or pole drilli�ng. These fees are all included in the final estimate of $90,590. ' <br /> The bids also include five (5) matching benches, two (2) picnic tables and two (2) litter <br /> receptacles. It should take approximately eight (8} weeks for delivery. � <br /> Members of the Park and Recreation Committee questioned which vendor the CNN would like to <br /> see most. Mr. Fairbrother felt either of the two (2) vendors (Playworld Systems or Game Time) <br /> would be nice. Ms. Fairbrother mentioned that Playworld has been incredible as faz as following <br /> up with the CNN. If the CNN requested something specific, the were very quick in getting back <br /> with the results. Ms. Fairbrother felt they were a great company to work with. <br /> The Park and Recreation Comnuttee feh comfortable with the recommendation the CNN gave for <br /> Game Time MN / WI Piayground Inc., and asked Mr. Porter to continue on with the <br /> recommendation / motion. <br /> Motion by Mr. Porter based on the review process done by CNN, Park and Recreation <br /> members and interested citizens, to accept the proposal presented by Game Time, MN/WI <br /> Piayground Inc. (with room for adjustments) and to advise City Council to proceed with <br /> the first stage of development for Acorn Creek Park. Motion seconded by Mr. Brown. All <br />
