Marv Jane Lan� - Letter re�arding, Acorn Creek Park Council member NeIson stated she spoke with Mary Jane Lang about her cancerns regarding Acorn Creek Park. Ms. Lang seemed pleased after Council member Nelson explained tax dollars were not being used. Council rnember Nelson indicated she would like to see an adult focused park incorporated into one of the City's parks. Council member Sweeney stated Park and Recreation Chairperson Michael Navin has indicated Acorn Creek Park is not going to be arz exclusively youth oriented park. Council member Sweeney also added he would Iike to see tennis courts placed in one of the City parks. Counci� member Travis indicated he thought there were plans of some adult oriented structures going into Acorn Creek Park. Marv Jane Lang� - Letter re�arding News�etter Council mexnber Nelson stated she spoke with Mary Jane Lang. Ms. Lang was concerned about tax dollars being spent to pay for a znontl�ly newsletter. Council Member Nelson indicated the monthly newsletter would be placed at Iocal gas stations for pick up by local residents to save on pastage. Council member Nelson indicated Ms. Lang felt better about the newsletter after their conversation. Council member Nelson added that whiie on the phone with Ms. Lang, she made a complaint against Media One in regards to the free government channel no Ionger being ' offered. Conncil member Nelson addressed and resolved the complaint, as well as prepared an article for the next �ity newsletter to inform residents this service is still ' offered. Bob and Sue Tschida - Letter regarding, slope of driveway Bob Tschic3a stated that as per the letter, he questions the driveway located at 1860 Revoir Street, not being taken out for sidewalk placement. Council memi�er Nelson asked City Engineer Tom Peterson to look at the driveway on Revoir Street. Mr. Peterson indicated he has looked at the driveway on 1$60 Revoir, and concluded it was not put in correctly, and that is has over the City's required 2% slope. . Mr. 1�larch referred to tne developers agreement, which indicates the sidewalk has to be put in before the driveway. Mr. Palzer mentioned the developer is responsible for putt�ng in the sidewallc, and added the sidewalks in Acorn Creek have been replaced numerons times. NIr. Hoeft stated the responsibility is with the developer. Mr. Hoeft added the City can work to eliminate sidewalk problems in the future via the developers agreement. Council member NeIson stated the homeowner could take the developer or the builder to court. Mx. Tschida mentioned this problem occurred over two yea.rs ago. Nfr.
