The <br /> � property is 220 feet wide and St. Paul Water Utility wants to retain the portion with the <br /> house on it. They want to sell a piece that is approximately 100 feet wide. The City is <br /> waiting to receive an appraisal being completed by the St. Paul Water Utility to determine <br /> the purchase price. Mr. March added the City is applying for a Fishing Pier Grant, but has <br /> been informed the funds have already been allocated. Mr. March was informed that the <br /> City's application should rate highly ne� �ear. <br /> Dou� Porter questioned if the City has acted on the potential trail corridor along �he Met <br /> eouncii� easement sauth of tne Center Oaks sut�divisions Mr. Marcl� explained the City <br /> has ]et Met Council know the City is interested in this opportunity and the City Engineer <br /> has provided comments on the Met Council p�ans i� regards� to this issue. <br /> NEW BUSINESS � <br /> Michael Navin questioned the Chain of Lakes Little League Contract, adding that he � <br /> thaught Park and Recreation recommended approval of the contract to the Council. I <br /> Mr. Hoeft felt it was fine far a standard document, but suggested the title change for the i <br /> amendment covering the groomer apparatus No further action from the Park and � <br /> Recreation Cotnmittee is required. � <br /> Letter from Wayne LeBlanc <br /> T�� C'rihbons spoke on behalf of Wayne LeBlanc. Mr. Gibbons explained that Mr. <br /> LaBlanc is petitioning for the City to follow through on plans - don't let them get waylaid. <br /> Mr. LeBlanc is still hoping f�r tke possibility of a park in Lakeland Hills. He also <br /> questioned if there w be a walkway to the school from Lakeland Hills. <br /> Mr. March explained it is in the approved plans to require a paved trail connecting <br /> Lakeland Circle to the elementary school property. N1r. Navin asked if there was any <br /> further discussion or motion on Mr. LeBlanc's petition? <br /> Since there wasn't any further discussion, Mr. Navin wanted to note in the Park and <br /> Recreation Meeting Minutes receipt of Mr. LeBlanc's letter, adding Thank Yau to Mr. <br /> LeBlanc for his input and support. <br /> 4 <br />
