Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes 04-07-10 The committee discussed this idea and found it worth researching, but had concerns regarding the condition of the warming house kitchen area where concessions would be sold from. Committee Member Amundsen said in preparing popcorn for the Skate Nights the area is in very bad need of maintenance and repair. He felt the Health Department would not approve the conditions. The committee would like to request Public Works do an inspection. It needs clea.ning, painting and something done with the ceiling at the very least. Committee Member Selander said Lexington sells concessions from a very decrepit building at all Little League events and it is always busy. The committee ta.bled this item requesting input from Public Works. Chairperson Branch will conta.ct the Health Department for information. Ms. Stephan will forward the request to Public Works. Safetv Issue � Plav Structure Equipment at Ea�le Park Committee Member Peterson requested this be put on the agenda as a neighbor had expressed concern regazding a safety issue with some of the play structure equipment at Eagle Park.
