<br />RESOLUTION 96-04 <br /> <br />APPOINTING A RESPONSmLE AUTHORITY AND ASSIGNING DUTIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended, <br />requires that the City of CeDterville appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to <br />administer the requiremeats for coUection, storag~ use and dissemination of data on <br />individuals, within the City, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville City Council sbares concern expressed by the <br />legislature on the re$pOIlSible use of all City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by <br />immediately appointing an administratively qualified Responsible Authority as required <br />under the statute. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City ofCenterville appoints Tom <br />W'dbatber as the Responsible Authority for the purposes of meeting all requirements of <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as amended, and with rules a s lawfully promulgated by <br />the Commission of Administration as published in Chapter 10S of the Minnesota Code of <br />Agency Rules. <br /> <br />FURTHER., BE IT RESOLVED, the Responsible Authority shall require the <br />requesting party to pay the actual cost of making, certifYing and compiling copies and of <br />preparing summary data. <br /> <br />AOOPTED BY CENl'BRVILLE CITY COUNCIL ON TInS 10th OF JantJ01')'. 1996. <br /> <br />ATTESTED TO BY THE: <br /> <br />C .-/~'- ~ <br />Tom W'tlharber, Mayor <br /> <br />~'~ <br />Tmdi Breuninger, City Clerk .~ <br />
