All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. AWARDS /PRESENTATIONS /APPEARANCES <br /> 1. Sergeant Aldridge <br /> Sergeant Aldridge appeared to present updates to the City Council. <br /> The City Council thanked Sergeant Aldridge for the Police Department update. <br /> VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Clearwater Drive — Construction Damage <br /> City Engineer Statz reviewed background information including options of road repair <br /> and the cost of each option. <br /> City Engineer Statz stated his belief that this cul -de -sac could have lasted approximately <br /> another ten years. He explained a mill and overlay process to the road would add about <br /> fifteen years, whereas a seal coat would add approximately five to seven years. <br /> Mayor Capra stated if there were a share to the cost, a Public Hearing would need to be <br /> held unless the residents all agreed to the cost. <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed resident photos of the machinery used on the road <br /> which caused damage and also clearly showed that the road was used as a staging area. <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
