SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT <br />WAIVER OF HEARING AND APPEAL <br />AGREEMENT made this zi of May, 2010, by and between the City of <br />Centerville, a Minnesota municipal corporation ( "City "), and Steve Lentsch and Kvidera J. <br />Lentsch ( "Property Owner ") husband and wife. <br />RECITALS <br />A. Property Owner is the fee owner of the following described real property, located <br />in the City of Centerville, Anoka County, Minnesota ( "Subject Property "): <br />7232 Mill Road, PID: 143122430010 <br />Lot 1, Block 2, Peterson Old Hst Addn. <br />B. Property Owner requests that the City of Centerville undertake the improvement <br />of installation of a service line connecting the home with water and including restoration of the <br />yard and patching of the concrete floor or basement slab. ( "Public Improvement "). <br />C. The costs expected to be incurred for the Public Improvement is the amount of the <br />special assessment listed below. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THEIR MUTUAL <br />COVENANTS, THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City will assess the Subject Property for its portion of the Public <br />Improvement. The amount of the special assessment is $12,965.00. The special <br />assessment principal shall be payable in equal installments over fifteen years, plus <br />five and one -half percent (5.5 %) interest on the unpaid balance. Interest shall <br />begin accruing on June 1, 2010. Each installment of the special assessment <br />principal and interest will be certified to the county and become due and payable <br />on the same schedule as the property taxes for the Subject Property beginning in <br />2011. <br />- 1 - <br />17 <br />
