City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 26, 2010 <br />Mr. Steve McDonald appeared to present the 2009 Annual Audit to the City Council <br />including procedures and processes on the following: Graph of General Fund Balance, <br />Summary of Revenue and Expenditures, Revenue Sources, Expenditures of General <br />Fund, Special Revenue Fund, Debt Service Funds, Enterprise Funds, Sewer Fund, Storm <br />Water Fund and Ratio Analysis. Mr. McDonald indicated that the audit process went <br />very well mentioning that Finance Director Jeziorski was well prepared and ahead of <br />schedule. <br />Mayor Capra asked if the City should be budgeting money for banked PTO time. Mr. <br />McDonald replied most cities use a pay -as- you -go obligation, looking at their liability <br />compared to the total that they are going to pay. He added the City is going to pay the <br />PTO at some point, advising it would be a good idea to budget for. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />None <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Ordinance #35. Second Series — Amendment to Chapter 156.006 -156.107 - <br />Accessory Structures <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information outlining the technical <br />changes made to the Ordinance. <br />The City Council discussed the wording under (A) Accessory Structures and Uses, with <br />the consensus of the Council to strike the last sentence in Item (5). <br />Motion by Council Member Love. seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to adopt Ordinance #35. Second Series — Amendment to Chapter 156.006 -156.107 - <br />Accessory Structures as presented and amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />2. Approval /Acceptance of the 2009 Annual Audit <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar <br />to approve of the 2009 Annual Audit as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br />3. Church of St. Genevieve Request for Temporary Charitable Gamblinp- Permit & <br />On -Sale Liquor License for their Annual Parish Festival <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed the background information. <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />4 <br />
