Motion by Savela, second by Murray to adopt the <br />following Resolutiona <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WH~~AS, the City of Centerville has been preparing their <br />Comprehensive City Plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville needs somewhere less than <br />six months for submission of the Comprehensive Plan, <br /> <br />NOW I THEREFOR~, BE IT R.t!:SOLV.t!:D that the City of Centerville <br />request the Metropolitan Council for an extension of .up to <br />six months from the July 1st submission date of their <br />Comprehensive City Plan. . /.2. <br /> <br />~ hJf"7("1~.. ~~ <br />- Mayor' ?/ <br /> <br /> <br />motion carried. Clerk will submit Resolution with accompanying <br />letter explaining request. Copy of letter is attached to and <br />made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />City office will be closed July )rd and 4th, 1980. <br /> <br />Council consensus to ask Al L'Allier if he is interested in <br />cutting weeds along the city right of way. <br /> <br />Mrs. Richard Robischon of 18)2 Main Street and several other <br />.Main Street residents appeared before council to request a <br />reduction in the speed limit on Main Street east of Centerville <br />to 20th Avenue.
