t 1 I RESOLUTION R.cl:SOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDJ:!:RING ADVERTI~MENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on August 9, 1978, the city engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of the following area: PLAN A REVISED - (1) This plan includes one-half the cost to complete Centerville Road. (2) The following streets will have 2- of bituminous pavement and bituminous curb except portions of Heritage, Mound Trail and Mill Road which will not have bituminous curb: Centerville Road (Heritage to Westview) Peltier Lake Drive (County Road #14 to east end) Heritage (LaMotte Drive to 22' east of Progress) Brian (Main Street to 700' South) Sorel (Goiffon to Progress) Westview (Centerville Road to 250' West) LaMotte Drive (Heritage to South city limits) Go iffon (Heri tage to Main) Progress (Heritage to Main) Mound Trail (County Road #14 to West city limits) Mill Road (Main Street to urban service district) 1800 feet 3970 feet 1410 feet 1400 feet 475 feet 350. feet 2250 feet 600 feet 1200 feet 3195 feet 4370 feet i L- The following street will have two applications of oil and sand plus the addition of 2" of crushed rock: Mill Road (Urban service district to north city limits) 2080 feet TOTAL FRONT FOOTAGE TO BE ASSESSED 23,100 feet NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Centerville, Minne so ta : ~ 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making'of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council on Tuesday, March 6, 1979, at 2:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Centerville, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. ~ CI CE RVIL . .~ ~~ MAYOR This Resolution was adopted by the City Council on Wednesday, January 24, 1979, in the Centerville City Hall. ._~..."":'_ ."__~"~:'~"":'-.':+-~'-"::7""!
