The lack of a City water system in
Centerville indicates a preference for high pressure
fog because this feature requires less water to control
a moderate size fire. .

2) The Committee feels the high pressure fog pump with a
positive displacement piston pump as provided by the
FMC Alternate is more desirable.

3) The delivery lead time provided by the FMC Alternate
of one month is more desirable than the lead times of
the other bids, of in excess of one year.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE,

MINNESOTA:

A) The bid of Mid-Central Fire & Safety Company for the
FMC Alternate, stock unit S-9637, is hereby accepted.
