<br />125 <br /> <br />r I <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 1976, in the <br />City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7s00 pm. <br />Present were Leon L'Allier and John Peterson. Arriving later <br />were Bill Hawkins, Attorney, Elmer Murray and Fran Burque. <br /> <br />Miiti1l1t.si~8fhmije't~ngSi\)H!la'February 11 and 25, 1976 were <br />approved as recorded. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTSs Mrs. Florence Seashore of <br />Peltier Lake Drive was in attendance complaining about the <br />condition of Peltier Lake Drive from 1600 on down the hill <br />toward their house at 1687. Mayor was to call County Highway <br />Department next morning to have a couple of loads of gravel <br />or crushed rock brought in and dumped on the bad spots. <br /> <br />Engineering bill from Milner W. Carley and Associates <br />was discussed. $3000. was paid on account on December 15, 1975 <br />and with current bill received, the balance was $4,843.50. <br />Matter was tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor read portions of letter concerning summer recreation <br />program which Centerville had contributed $250. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council we have received thank you letter <br />from Mr. Pease, President of Blaine-Spring Lake Park Life <br />on our appointment of the Blaine Life as our official paper <br />for 1976. <br /> <br />b- <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from Anoka County Department of Highways <br />asking us if we will be in need of culverts for the coming <br />season. <br /> <br />Dan Tourville reported' on tbenrollowing items for the Fire <br />Departments the need to purchase the monitor that is now on <br />the shelf in the hall and could purchase this monitor for <br />approximately $180. No action taken on this matter. He passed <br />out copies of the Report of the Committee on Fire Equipment <br />Purchases for 1976 for items to be included in 1976 budget. <br />Matter tabled until next meeting when further discussion can <br />be held. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to pass a resolution stating <br />the following: <br />RESOLUTION 4-76 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville <br />directs the clerk to advertise.for bids on the specifications <br />of a 750 Class "A" UL Certified triple combination pumper. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bids for this pumper shall be open until <br />12:01 PM, April 14, 1976, and bids read aloud at scheduled <br />meeting in City Hall commencing at 7:00 pm on the. same date. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adver- <br />tisement for such bids be published~in the Blaine Life News- <br />paper on the 19 and 26 of March, 1976. <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />ATTEST: OLERK-PREADURER <br /> <br />MAYOR <br />
