yi �J j 1 .`yam , ff e ia+n i� e / vi �r��tfl 7ti IC'if <5 -•. 6.51-429 -3132 or-Fav,631 -4?9 -8629 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF ANOKA CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLUTION #10 -013 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, the City submitted a grant application with Anoka County as sponsoring agency to Metropolitan Council for a Regional Trail Link Project, and WHEREAS, Metropolitan Council approved the application for a Grant to construct Centerville Regional Trail Link Project identified as project # S.P. 02- 090 -01, Minn. Proj. No. TEAX 0212(008), and WHEREAS, subsequent to approval of the grant, plans and specifications were prepared by Bonestroo and submitted to Minnesota Department of Transportation and to responsible Federal agencies, and WHEREAS, such State and Federal agencies have approved such plans and have given authorization to advertise the project for bids. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: 1) The City requests that Anoka County as sponsoring agency authorize the advertisement for bids on the project in conformance with law and County policies, on behalf of the City of Centerville. 2) The City will at its sole expense provide all engineering services related to such project bidding, will pay for all costs of advertisement for bids, receipt of bids and tabulation of bids. 3) City Council will evaluate bids that are received and provide direction to Anoka County as to whether bids meet specifications and whether or not a contract should be let to the lowest responsible bidder. 4) If the City and Anoka County determine that a contract should be awarded for the project, the City will provide at its sole expense all engineering services to manage the construction of the project and will pay all construction costs of the project that are not paid by the Federal Funds allocated to the project.
