EDC ANNUAL BUSINESS APPRE ATION "OLD FASHION BBQ". is scheduled for May 10, 2005 commencing at 5:30 p.m. at City Mall inn the Council Chambers. • NORTH METRO C14ANNEL 15 HOL S OPEN HOUSE ON MAY 17, 2005, North Metro Channel 15 will hold an open house for their new community television facility on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m. (12520 Polk St. NE, Blaine). Tours of the new building will future editing suites and production studio available for use by the public. Information about North Metro Channel 15's services will be available and staff will be on hand to explain how to get started making community television programs. A drawing will be held for free memberships and North Metro Channel 15 apparel. Comm ES ANb COMMISSION VACANCIES The Economic i eveloprnent Committee E C , the Parks and Recrea- tion Committee P & R and the Planning and Zoning Commission sion (P & Z) have vacated positions. EDC has two vacancies. They meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. P & R has three vacancies. They rneet on the 1st Wednesday of every month. P & Z has one vacancy and they rneet on the 1st Tuesday of every month. All committees and commission meetings start at 6:30 p.rn. or shortly thereafter. If you are inter- ested in becoming a member or have questions regarding the cornmit- tees commission, please contact City Hall at 651-429-3232. . M COUNCIL VACANCY There is a City Council seat available. If anyone is interested in be- coming a City Council Member, please submit a letter of interest to City Hall: City Council will be accepting letters of interest until Allay 6, 2005. Council meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month and has occasional work sessions. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to Linda Broussard -dickers for her many years of service. We will miss her.
