CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Mosher. <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br /> <br />II.PUBLIC INPUT/HEARING <br /> <br /> A public hearing was held relating to the proposed change in City Code, Chapter 156, <br />Sections 156.006 and 156.107. The Commission reviewed the proposed change. The most <br />significant element of the proposed change would allow garages to be set 5 feet from a property <br />line rather than the current 10 feet. Other minor changes in text and limits to size of accessory <br />buildings were also in the draft. The following persons spoke with regard to the proposed <br />amendments: <br /> <br /> Olaf Lee, 1724 Heritage Street. Mr. Lee indicated that he would like to see <br />more flexibility in the location and amounts of accessory building space that <br />can be constructed. <br /> <br /> Kurt Frieson, 6913 Sumac Court. Mr. Frieson would like to be able to add to <br />the side of his garage, thus the proposed five foot setback is needed and he <br />supports the change. <br /> <br />Everyone who wished to do so was given the opportunity to speak with regard to the proposed <br />amendment. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
