Motion carried <br /> <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />III.OLD BUSINESS <br />. <br /> <br />1. <br /> Comprehensive Plan-Zoning Modifications <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Wood that the <br />Commission request a joint meeting between Council and P&Z to discuss the <br />changes identified in the Comprehensive Plan. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> Downtown Nonconforming Uses <br /> <br /> The Commission reviewed a draft of Code changes that would implement the <br />changes they requested at the last meeting. The changes would permit a 33% <br />increase in building foot print and permit accessory buildings and decks to the same <br />degree as permitted in the R-2 zoning district. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Lange that the <br />Commission hold a public hearing at its next meeting to consider adoption of <br />the changes to the City Code relating to downtown area nonconforming uses. <br />All voted in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />IV.NEW BUSINESS. <br /> <br />1. <br />Proposed Modifications to Chapter 156 Relating to Residential Accessory <br />Structures <br /> <br />(Acted on at the close of the public hearing.) <br /> <br />V. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Larson to approve <br />minutes from March 2, and April 6 meetings. All in favor.
