Minnesota statute 103G.298 requires " All automatically <br />operated landscape irrigation systems shall have furnished and installed technology that inhibits or interrupts operation of the <br />landscape irrigation system during periods of sufficient moisture. The technology must be adjustable either by the end user or the <br />professional practitioner of landscape irrigation services." <br />® Water Efficient Plumbing Fixtures. The 1992 Federal Energy Policy Act established <br />manufacturing standards for water efficient plumbing fixtures, including toilets, urinals, <br />faucets, and aerators. <br />Enforcement. Education and Information Programs. Customers should be provided information on how <br />to improve water use efficiencies a minimum of two times per year. Information should be <br />provided at appropriate times to address peak demands. Emergency notices and educational <br />materials on how to reduce water use should be available for quick distribution during an <br />emergency.
