Greg has been <br />working for the City for approximately 15 months as a project inspector. He has <br />contributed greatly to our projects and has saved us substantially in consultant fees that <br />would otherwise have been paid for inspection. Greg has many years in the construction <br />business and has run jobs doing earthwork, public utilities and streets. While we are <br />likely to have fewer of these kinds of projects over the next two or three years, there is <br />increasing responsibility in the area of managing stormwater so he will be assigned to <br />that kind of work. He will also be cross trained in all areas of water, sanitary sewer and <br />street maintenance. When we do not have him doing project inspection work, the costs <br />of this position will shift from construction funds to the General Fund. <br />Dallas Larson, Administrator <br />
