City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 14, 2010 <br />Mayor Capra indicated that the proposed 2011 budget has a slight increase from the 2010 <br />budget due to the required increase in PERA contributions and a step increase for an <br />employee. The remainder of the budget stays at the 2010 levels. The franchise fee paid <br />back to the member cities is projected to have an increase of $2,931 over the 2010 <br />payment. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Broussard Vickers to <br />approve the North Metro Telecommunications Commission 2011 Annual Budget. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Consider Releasing the Livable Communities Grant – Block 8 (Downtown <br />Redevelopment) <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding Block 8 <br />Downtown Redevelopment and suggested releasing the grant funds back to the <br />Metropolitan Council due to the inability to fulfill the requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to release the Livable Communities Grant. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated nothing to report. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra provided an updated on the progress of the upcoming parade and thanked <br />all who have volunteered for the event. <br /> <br /> <br />X.ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Paar, seconded by Broussard Vickers to adjourn the July 28, 2010 City <br />Council Meeting at 7:10 p.m. All in favor.
