CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RESOLUTION #10-0,<Z, <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, Outlot B, Pheasant Marsh 1' Addition. PIN# 23.31.22.34.0027 has forfeited <br />to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville operates a trail across such property that was <br />constructed by the developer of the property under the terms if his development <br />agreement, and <br />WHEREAS, the developer neglected to record trail casements across the property for the <br />benefit of the City of Centerville, and <br />WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the City to acquire the tax forfeit <br />property to protect the trail and ensure future maintenance of the adjoining land within <br />the parcel. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and Administrator are hereby authorized to complete the application for a <br />state deed and any other necessary paperwork to secure ownership of the subject <br />property. <br />2) The Council hereby authorizes payment of the costs of acquisition and recording of <br />the tax deed, estimated at $312.50. <br />Adopted by the City Council this qi4t 10�� <br />day of ,2010. <br />Mary Capra, Mayor <br />Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br />
