City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 8, 2010 <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Merchant Agreement with RevTrak On -Line Bill Pay <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding RevTrak on -line <br />bill payment. <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br />approve the Merchant Agreement with RevTrak On -Line Bill Pay. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />2. Resolution #10 -023 — Approving Proposed 2011 Budget & Tax Levy. <br />City Finance Director Jeziorski presented the preliminary proposed 2011 budget and tax <br />levy. He stated there will be an increase of 1.7 percent in the 2011 levy, water and sewer <br />will remain the same, and stormwater will increase 50 cents per quarter. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adopt <br />Resolution #10 -023 approving the vreliminary 2011 Budget and Tax Levy. Motion <br />carried. ( 5 -1) Broussard Vickers opposed.) <br />3. Consideration of Approval of the Centennial Lakes Police Department 2011 <br />Budget. <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding the Centennial <br />Lakes Police Department 2011 budget. <br />Motion by Council Member Love. seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve the Centennial Lakes Police Department 2011 Budget. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimouslv. <br />4. Consideration of Approval of the Centennial Fire Department 2011 Budget. <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding the Centennial <br />Fire Department 2011 budget. <br />Motion by Council Member Love. seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the Centennial Fire Department 2011 Budget. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />5. Anoka County Broadband <br />City Administrator Larson stated Anoka County was awarded a grant for broadband <br />service to link all public buildings within Anoka County with a higher speed internet <br />connection. The cost would be $135 per site, for 100mb speed, which could be shared <br />with the fire department for the City Hall. The Public Works facility would result in <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />3 <br />
