IX ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES 1. Ci ly Administrator, Dallas Larson City Administrator Larson reviewed the Clearwater Drive mill and overlay project and advised that the contractor agreed to absorb 75 percent of the cost. Staff will send a bill for the 25 percent of the City's share divided amongst the properties involved. 2. City Engineer, Mark Statz City Engineer Statz indicated he met with an irrigation contractor regarding the large gun style irrigation system. He proposed having a demonstration of the large gun irrigation style for council and staff to determine if this is a product that can be installed. 3. Mayor Capra Mayor Capra stated the City of Centerville is now on Twitter at Centervillemn. She added she attended the Rush Line Corridor meeting and advised there will be a one-year test for a commuter bus traveling from Columbus to St. Paul. Also, funding for the Park and Ride located on 35E and County Road 14 has been approved and will be completed next year. Motion by Paar smeonded by Broussard Vickers to adiourn the September 8, 2010 City Council Meeting at 8:00 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
