SUNDAY LIQUOR RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the State .of.Minnesota has enacted and adopted Laws 1967, <br /> Ch. 691 wherein Minnesota Statutes 1965, Section 340. 14 was amended so as <br /> to allow intoxicating liquor to be served on Sunday under certain specified <br /> conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said Amendment, the voters of the Village of <br /> Centerville, and any other village, may authorize the issuance of special <br /> licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquor on Sunday; and" <br /> WHEREAS, said authorization of the voters of the Village of Centerville, <br /> or any other village, may be given at a special election called for such purpose; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1. That it is necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to allow <br /> the eligible voters of the Village of Centerville, State of Minnesota, to vote <br /> on the question of whether or not said Village shall issue special licenses <br /> for the sale of intoxicating liquor on Sunday in said Village, as defined in <br /> Laws 1967, Ch. 691 and Minnesota Statutes 1965, Section 340. 14, as amended. <br /> 2. That it is necessary that said eligible voters of the Village of Centerville, <br /> State of Minnesota, first authorize the issuance of said special licenses at a <br /> special election called for such purpose before said licenses may be issued. <br /> 3. That a special election shall be held at the Village Hall, Village of <br /> Centerville,. State of Minnesota, on the , day of cS� fZj" , 1967, <br /> from 12 o' clock ,&. M. to � 11;1 o'clock P. M., at which time <br /> and place the following proposition shall be submitted to the eligible voters: <br /> "Shall special licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating <br /> liquor on Sundays in the Village of Centerville ?" <br /> 4.
