City Council 2010-10-27 <br /> Summary of Meeting <br /> Present were Mayor Capra, Fehrenbacher, Love, and Paar. Absent was Broussard <br /> Vickers. <br /> 1. Council approved the consent agenda which contained routine items. <br /> 2. Heard a presentation by Little League President Pat Mahr. Mr. Mahr indicated the <br /> intentions of the LL to convert LaMotte field #1 into a true baseball diamond with <br /> grass in the infield and a raised pitching mound. The Council approved this <br /> conversion given the LL covers all costs associated with the conversion. The City <br /> will continue maintaining and grooming the fields during the baseball season and <br /> with their current drain tile/aglime restoration project. <br /> 3. The Council approved contracts A, B and C in conjunction with the Downtown Storm <br /> Water Reclamation project. <br /> Contract A — Ellison Company $124,721.65 <br /> Contract B - Bergeson Caswell $52,475.00 <br /> Contract C— Irrigation by Design $62,200 (Big gun system) <br /> 4. Council approved the joint settlement agreement and stipulation for dismissal with <br /> prejudice to settle the Fisher easement issues. <br /> ''The council discussed moving the 11/24/10 meeting to fhat Monday. However, the notice for our <br /> delinquent utility public hearing was actually published in the latest edition of the Citizen with the <br /> date of 11/24/10. Instead of incurring fhe cost of rerunning the ad we will revert back fo the <br /> origina/ meeting date.
